Today's show will commemorate the April 3, 1883 arrival to the Badlands of Antoine-Amédée-Marie-Vincent Manca Amat de Vallombrosa, Marquis de Morès et de Montemaggiore (June 14, 1858 – June 9, 1896), commonly known as the Marquis de Morès. The theme will be "Good Neighbors," and will feature a reading of TR's April 3, 1903 speech on foreign policy in Waukesha, Wisconsin. TR uses the analogy of the good neighbor in his remarks. In the story of the neighborly relations between the Marquis de Mores and young Theodore Roosevelt there is much akin to TR's 1903 good neighbor message!
